Halfway there – declutter with me in November

Just a little update, now that we are halfway through the 30 days declutter challenge. I’m still going strong, you?

Decluttering

As you could read in my first update, my plan was to declutter the last bit of my bedroom and then go on with the kitchen. Well that’s what I did, but also I got rid of some more clothes. I tried them on or wore them one day and decided I don’t love them that much.

Also I got a new phone this week, so I decided to sell my old phone and accessoires.

Made some extra money

I gave away most of what I decluttered to friends, family or the thrift store. But I also uploaded some things on Vinted (you can read about this website in my first update) and an online Dutch market place. And as a result of selling, I made more than €400,- already with this declutter challenge.
Can’t complain about that!

The last half of the challenge

If you joined me on this challenge on November 1st, 2020 , you now (November 16th, 2020) decluttered 345 things. In the last half of the challenge we only need to declutter 120 things in total.

My plan is to get rid of some recipes I collected, but never tried and probably never will.
Also I think it’s time to go through all of my Christmas stuff and I think I might have some games that are incomplete.
And my reverse category of the first week is still not used. So it is also time to get rid of some pens, markers and other office supplies.

Entering the challenge from now on?

Sure you can!
Read this post. I explained how to declutter 465 things in November.
Whether you are going to catch up, continue longer or just skip the first days is entirely up to you!

If you need inspiration on what to declutter and what to do with everything, read also my earlier update on the challenge.

What are your declutter plans for the last half of de challenge?
