Done! – declutter with me in November

Yeah! We are done. We decluttered 30 days and got rid of 465 things!

Decluttering

I have to say that I found the last few days tough. Justbecause you cannot declutter properly, but only get rid of a few things at once.
It was also difficult, because I moved in January from a family home to an apartment. I already got rid of a lot back then.
But still I managed to declutter all those things, so you must have been able too?! And by that I mean to get rid of 465 things, because mentally it was quite difficult to keep it up!

Nex time I would rather choose to plan days in my agenda to declutter a whole closet / room / etc. at once. Then you can really keep going.

Recycle

Most of the stuff I got rid of didn’t end up in the trash. Probably also because of that move earlier this year. Usually it was way too good for the trash so I made friends and family happy with it or the thrift store. And as you can read in my first update, I also made some extra money by selling it on Vinted.

I often used the rule, if I didn’t touched it since moving in January, it could go.

I can declutter even more!

I didn’t even went through my Christmas stuff. So next week we are going to get rid of some extra things when I’ll decorate my home for Christmas!

I was also advised to hang all the hangers in my wardrobe the wrong way. When you have worn something, hang it the right way. This way you can easily find out what you no longer (like to) wear.

Also, I still haven’t sorted out my recipes. I will, soon!.

Wanna do this challenge?

You sure can!
But did you know the first 30 days month is April? So that’s quite some time from now.
So maybe you can declutter in January? As a new years resolution? Then you just take January 1 “off”, because this is a holiday.

You can find more information in this post. I explained how to declutter 465 things in November and you can download an easy plannertool there also.
Whether you are going to catch up, continue longer or just skip the first days is entirely up to you!

If you need inspiration on what to declutter and what to do with everything, read also my first update and second update during my challenge.
